Our external vulnerability scan uses OpenVAS to test for vulnerabilities on open ports. Some firewalls will have IPS or other security methods that protect against port scanning. Check with the client to make sure that these security measures are turned off or accommodations in place to allow our server to scan the firewall are in place to get the best results.
